Default engine question

i've got a stock d16 in my civic with a 102,000 miles on it. is it worth suping up or should i swap. i was thinking of going all motor, but i don't know, what do you think i should do????

swappy time. better to save and do a swap now than build and blow the d16

for about $6k, you could turn that d16 into a pretty reliable monster.

this is what i would do. keep the d16 you wanted to go n/a. you would have to change the internals anyway. so it would a new motor. and if you blow up the motor you can gat a new one on ebay for $200-250. if it was me I would turbo the **** out of it.

i got an idea. i'm going to buy another d16 and keep it in my garge, and order everything that i want to do to it and when i feel like i'm finished with it then i will swap it back into my car, so i'll still be driving my car and i will be working on the new engine in my garge. for ex. flywheel, cam shaft, cam gears, pulleys set, cold air intake, pistons, intake manifold....and the list goes on. so i think this is what i'm going to do. what do u all think?
