Default Engine mounts - Hasport Vs innovative

Hey guys,

looking at direct replacment engine mounts for a d16z6. I have been looking at Innovative and Hasport mounts, and hasport do look on the expensive side. Any pros and cons to these mounts? Is the extra money you spend on hasport worth it? if so why?

Thanks in advance

Regards Lyle

If you shop around you should be able to find the Hasports for about the same price as the Innovatives.

I love my innovative, but hasports are good too. Get whichever one you can find cheaper, both are well made.

both sets of innovatives i've seen are top notch, plus it seems like innovative is willing to work with people. whereas hasport is only going to make what they want to make and **** you if you don't drive a civic

my vote is for Innovative, and if you can shop around and find hasports as cheap as innovatives, what do you think will happen if you shop around for Innovatives?

IMO the extra price is not justifiable. We are stocking dealer for innovative. Check your pm.

Saying that the price difference is not justifiable doesn't mean a whole lot coming from a dealer for Innovative.. Who's been around longer, and will still be around when Innovative disappears?

He means that the extra price you are paying for Hasports is not justifiable.

INNOVATIVES all the way.. quality stuff, they bake the urathane beveled so the motor has some give , unlike hasport which is a flat surface on their mounts and dosent alow the motor to give( causes more vibrations in the car)

i had innovative on my 93 da and they were the best fitting mounts i've ever dealt with.

I have both and they both are fine.

With that being said, the Hasports have a 95a durometer (hard) and transmit alot more vibration than the 65a (soft) innovatives I have. Also, I have swapped back and forth a few times with the innovatives, and the poly on the D.side mount has deformed. Innovative has already said they would take care of it.
I cant say if ^these characteristics are because of the companies themselves, or because of the differences between the two and how I've used them...Most likely the later though.
