well i put in cams the other day and ever since i installed them my enginesounds louder.. now i dont mean wierd noises just everyday driving noises.
now everything is done to specs.
valve train is noisey now... it kind of sounds mean in a way..

Yeah dude its fine .... the growl of tough springs is cool, and I know it when I heard it at first I was a little worried. But I now can tell if someone has stiffer springs and probably cams just by listening to them idle.

After installing cams u always do a valve adjustment, everyone knows that unless they are new like the people that replied before me. If the valve clearances are too big the engine will make more noise and you will loose some performance since the valves are not opening as much and as fast as they could be. If they are to tight then you will get premature cam lobe and rocker arm wear or even braking.

 

Yea your fine. My engine is loud as hell.
