Could a bad ground somewhere be giving me a wierd engine code??? I just reacently swaped in a OBD 2 ls motor into my 1993 delsol and I am getting these wierd engine codes........I have a code 15 right now. I originally thought that the problem was the purge valve or evap valve not being hooked up.....it isnt hooked up because I used the d-series engine harness and the plugs are differnt. So i just took the purge valve of the d16 and pluged it in and got the same code. But then I grounded the purge valve because it grounds itself to the manifold when it is screwed on. After I did that I got a differnt code (code 5) a map code. But the car seems to run fine I was just wondering if not having a propper ground would cause the computer to throw a false code. I have already tried a difernt computer and same code. Can someone help me out???? PLEASE!!!!

damn this is old. Have you checked the ground at the thermostat housing. Its easy to leave loose and makes you have wierd codes.
