will a 1995 sohc vtec 1.5 engine, work in my 1990 dx with the 1990 intake, and cpu

you need the 95 ecu

Yes - if you use the 90 dx dizzy, 90 dx ECU, 90 dx intake manifold (because of the DPFI setup)

but, it's gonna be slow... very slow. It's not worth the effort unless your gonna end up doing a MPFI swap, and then you'll need something to activate the vtec.

The 1.5 is the vtec e engine. Its possible to do what you ask, but its gonna suck ballz. There will be no vtec, not that it would have mattered in this case anyway. Desperate times call for desperate measures though.

y dont u just get a zc? a friend of mine knows somone with a sohc zc. if vtec is what u want then get a sohc vtec.
