engine bog, ignition?
ok just put the b18c in and took it on a test drive yesterday. car started and everything fine. drove around for about 10 mins then finally cracked into it. thing hauled *** for about 3 runs. then when we were coming home the engine starts to sputter when you mash the gas or put it down 3/4. went home changed the spark plugs and set the fuel down a little. took it back out and it ran good for the first run. then the same problem happened. so then we though its probably the fuel, so me and my brother turned it down some more till it was running almost at stock level, 45psi. then that still dident work so we cranked it up to 60psi
. after about a hour of dicking with the fuel it still wouldent fire right. the only thing i can think that would be wrong is something in the ignition. any ideas?

all so i just took the plugs out and cleaned them. put them back in and took it on a ride. drov egood for about 10mins then got all shitty again. my brother things theres not enough fuel going thought it, but its got 75psi going thought the pump..also the exhaust gets super super hot. i turned the car on and 1 min from idling the muffler is too hot to even touch, maybe this helos???
are you serious?75 psi????. put fuel pressure back to aroung stock....and go from there, check your dizzy, maybe your ignitor might be going bad.

Unfortunately O2 sensor could be fouled and give "lazy" readings, without throwing a code. the only way to determine it's state would be to measure the voltage readings it gives and how fast it responces to O2 content changes, helms has instructions on the procedure.

i have the similar problem,
my ecu is throwing code 4:Crankshaft Position Sensor (CKP)
Defective cicuit or unplugged/defective sensor
when you give it gas does it choke even more??
check what code the ecu blinks

Plug wires is a good possibility. Check resistance of each of the wires or swap known good set in. The resistance will vary some b/w each wire, but shouldn't be anything outrageously out of range.
Still could be. If the fuel pressure isn't dropping under high load, then the fuel pump is fine.
What fuel pump are you using? B-series or D-series?

fuel pressure is droping to 40 from 75 and its the D series pump so i think that might be it.
ordered a new one today. ill se what happens with that
