ok...I live in NC. we don't have emmissions yet..but we're getting them soon. I just got all my ase's...but never did anything for emmissions. So i really don't know what to do about them.

I have a 98 DX hatch...with a 96 ITR swap. Now, when they hook it up, does it look for something off the ECU for the year of that car? Does it also go as far as to look for the VIN or anything? I'm sure that if need be, I can hack this...but I've never heard anyone doin it.

I'll be obd1 until inspection time, where i'll put in my 96 ITR ecu. So, i'm just wondering how ppl get around having an older engine.
