Default Electrics cutting out momentarily regularly

Over the past week I have noticed that my electrics have been dying for about 0.1 - 0.3 of a second. It happens infrequently but around every 8 minutes. It comes back to life instantly and isn't off for even a second. During this time the car is still perfectly driveable but the headunit / clock / headlight / lights for speedometer all turn off.
This morning I pulled into my driveway and noticed everything was fading on/off/on/off.
About an hour later I drove the car again and nothing was wrong.

Any ideas? Is it a loose wire somewhere that I need to fiddle with? Car is a '99 Accord 3.0 Coupe.

Check the free fixes first. Are the battery cables clean and tight? Check the end of the ground cable where it connects to the trans, too. Next suspect would be the ignition switch.
