As it got colder, my 95 gsr had trouble starting. Turn the key and got 1 click, no start, hit it a few times and it would start. Started having that problem less. Had alternator and battery checked, both check out okay. tonight my stereo wont come on when I start the car. Car starts fine. Check out stereo for 10 minutes, dome light was on. Battery is dead. WTF. dont know what to do since both alt and battery check out fine. HELP.

are the batt terminals clean and tight? also check the ignition switch for high resistance, you can take the switch apart and clean the terminals.

 

re-check the batt and alternator somewhere else... our load tester at schucks doesnt always say bad battery and our alt. tester is garbage.
