Default Electrical Issue... Suggestions Please?

my friend and i were cleaning his 2001 Civic Ex em2 and we degreased the engine and hosed it off (trying to be careful not to get anything too drenched).. upon starting the car and driving down the road his ABS , SRS and Battery lights all went on.... his headlights also appeared to be brighter as well as the cabin light when he gives it gas... when it is in neutral the ABS SRS and Battery lights go off... can anyone help??? could it be a wet ground? all his fuses were completely dry...

Sounds like the alternator is full fielding, meaning its giving max output all the time (shorted out).
Id let it dry out and if it keeps on doing it, get a new alternator...
I use a high pressure hose with pretty good luck. It uses less water and is better at washing away all the dirt. Just avoid main electrical items like the alternator, fusebox, distributor, electrical connectors and sensors. Everything else can take a good washing safely.
