well i have a crx si that won't start. has fuel hhad compression. doesn't have spark. getting code 10 and 15. one for iat and one for rpm signal output. i chhanged coil, ignitor. still no start.

the funny thing is if i turn the key to the one position with a screwdriver in the #1 spark plug wire i get a spark without even starting the engine. also when i took the distributor out and rotate the shaft. i can hear something clicking around the engine. like a relay for the starter or something. and some hissing coming from the intake. this is with the key in the on position. help me out.

 

k for the code 15, disconnect that 2 wire plug at the dist, should be a yel/blk and blue. measure the volts of the yel/blk wire, there should be battery volts, if there is then reconnect the connector and measure the volts at b15 and b17, there should be 10 volts. let me know what you get at this point and if yoru tests failed.

I have the same problem, only that i have a hissing coming from my intake as well. Any ideas what this hissing noise is? The engine turns but doesnt start, theres no spark. happened out of nowhere, i started it and drove it an hour before that too.
