Default Electrical help please (should be easy)

Hey people,

Ok,,,,, I'm building a sandrail and need some help with the tach.

I have an aftermarket tack and i am installing it in the sandrail. I had read around the internet for a while and it seems as though most people are hooking up there aftermarket tack signal wire in the dash. As i do not have a dash I need to know which wire i need to use

Details.............
I have re-worked the wiring harness and everything is working great! I obviously do not have the same dash as the 1996 civic.

My first question is--------------- What wire on the distributor do I connect the signal wire to?(See pic) OR which wire on the computer

Second question is--------------- Is the signal coming from the distributor 12V? I did hook up the tack for a second to the blue wire on the bottom and it spiked the tack momentarily.

Thanks in advance!!!!

Steve

96-98; All models, 99-00; D16Y5 (m/t): Blue wire from distributor.

99-00; All models except D16Y5 (m/t): A19 at the ECU (or tap the unused terminal of the ICM, which is where the Blue wire above is actually coming from).

For 92-95 Civic's, the Blue wire is it. Yes, it's a 12v signal.

#3 - It'll be sharing the same connector that the Blk/Yel wire is in.

#1 (Blu/Grn) & #2 (Blu/Yel) are both for the Crank sensor.
