Default electrical help needed.

All of the following happens when i turn the lights on, not with just the running lights turned on, the headlights have to be turned on.

When i turn the lights on, the tach goes off. Also, the turning signals stay on in the front the whole time. They will blink if turned on, but they are on the whole time. The high beam indicator doesn't come on either, though the high beams come on just fine.

When the lights are off, everything is fine. Tach works fine, turn signals, and if you pull the turning signal lever (like you were turning on the high beams) the high beams come on and the indicator shows up just fine.

Anything is possible with this car, i have done and redone pretty much everything in the vehicle. More cut and spliced wires than i care to think about. So any ideas of where to start would be appreciated.

Is it possible a ground wire didn't get bolted back down?

anything is possible. I'm going to start going through all the wires up under the dash. I'm trying to make sense of it in my head, why it only happens when the lights are turned on. But, I'll definately be checking all the grounds.

94 del sol, and thanks for the replies. As strange as it sounds, I started wiggling around the connections for my turbo timer, and it went away. Went back and soldered those connections and it seems to have straightened it out.
