hey whats up guys does anyone know how to trick the EGR code? got a h22a motors thats in a 93 civic, but couldn't wire up the EGR.... any help would be great

 

Which ecu are you using?

 

i'm using the h22a ecu right now. so the computer reads egr, and i don't really want to run a gsr or p28 ecu

what year is the megine/ecu from?

 

92-95 prelude vtec, OBD1

 

you are going to need a CVC valve and frequency solenoid from a prelude. It is located on the driver's side fender area. It will have vacuum hoses going to it and it will have a black bracket. The CVC valve is green and white.

 

i got it already so whats would be the next step???

 

You need to hook it up. There should be a connector for the solenoid from the wire harness. Hook up a vacuum line from the manifold to the CVC valve. Hook up the solenoid hose to the egr line.
