Eg Dizzy Kill Switch Install Looking For Ign 12v In Engine Harness
First off I know this might be more suited to the Audio/Security thread but felt there being a whopping 9 threads there better off here with more traffic.
Second, I am already going to utilize a 30 amp toggle for fuel pump kill switch. Just like to have the added security of a kill switch on dizzy for the "**** this it ain't worth it," factor.
ALRIGHT...
Looking for ignition 12v+ within the engine harness as I have it out now fixing hacked wiring and re-taping/re-looming
I am going to be using a GM Relay style kill switch that is usually used in place of the fuel pump relay, that utilizes a single button key fob.
For the "kill" circuit on the dizzy I plan to use the Yellow w/ Green Stripe (Ignition Input Signal). Which I am fairly certain should work, but without a proper detailed wiring diagram not 100%, so input on if that sounds like a winner would be great. Otherwise I will just use the White (Crank Position Ground) just don't want to have to keep erasing codes if i forget hit the fob.
Last and most important is a 12v switched ignition source within the engine harness. I look through an old Haynes manual with the worst wiring diagrams I've seen in well, ever, and had no luck.
Thanks For The Input,
Cheers

Morning Time Bump
If someone could supply a proper wiring diagram as well that would be great, whole engine harness would awesome. Just the dizzy would be fine, but basic pin outs won't cut it.

You can intercept the ignition coil primary (which is the YEL/BLK wire on most Honda's) or the crank sensor in the distributor, both of them will disable spark. I would suggest the crank sensor to prevent the engine from flooding during cranking. (ECM will discover an ignition primary fault, and should disable the injectors)
