eg blowing ecu fuse
a friends eg is blowing the ecu fuse in the engine bay...
b16, gsr harness, blah blah blah
he has a vafc in it, and a few kill switches
ive gone over the wiring on them ands they are fine, the car has had these switches and vafc in the car for over a year with no prolem...
any ideas?

This used to happen to my car too. I also had a vafc on my ek hatch with a p30 ecu...
I since removed the vafc and so far, no blown fuses...I had my vafc on my car for a few years also before it started to blow the 10A fuse under the hood...
I guess under very specific conditions the ecu/vafc combo would draw over the fuses rating...Or like he said a short to ground...
My situation was VERY intermittent and only happened 3 tmes in the past 5 years(daily driven)...
I since removed the vafc and so far, no blown fuses...I had my vafc on my car for a few years also before it started to blow the 10A fuse under the hood...

nvm, problem is back... thinking it may be the harness, now we have to tow the car back to his house... my rt4wed 88 wagon will do the trick
