ok my car runs and drives but wont engage vtec and ive got a code 16 on my obd1. it also revs all the way out no sputters unless downshifting. now i have most of my trouble when its cold or in the morning to get it started. it takes a long cranks to get it in cycle. and sometime when ive been driving it needs a tap of the gas pedal while cranking to get it started then it idles fine and wont die immediately after ingnition and turnover. could this be grounding problems or a bad relay? or what? also take in mind i hear the fule pump running everytime. my swap is to a si hatch 91. anyhelp is apreciated people. thanks in advance. also runing a chipped p28 .

 

Pull the chip out of the ECU and it will go back to factory specs and see if that fixes the proble,.If not,Change the injectors and see if that works.

 

So basically if need to get a new chip or have it remapped? I mean the p28 won't run a b16 to its fullest with out the chip right?
