Default Edelbrock Victor X

Simple question guys ... just got the Victor X intake manifold and was reading the installation instruciton. In the instructions, it recommends to use the Edelbrock intake manifold gasket (part no. 15041) with the manifold. I was just going to use a new factory gasket ... does it matter?

Thanks!
