ECU wiring question

Is there any special type of wire to use when wiring the ECU, like wiring the knock sensor, do I need to use any special type of wire. Or can I use like speaker wire or something?

try to use a wire that has good conduction. i guess speaker wire will work. i usually go to the junkyard and just cut a harness wire to be sure
