Default Ecu Test harness. How do I get around not using it.

Well I am having problems with my 90 CRX Si with a mini-me swap (still obd0). I am getting code 20 which is ELD (electric load detected).

I have troubleshooted it all the way to where it says to use a ecu test harness but I don't have money for that. Is there a way to get around it and still follow the procedures in the manual?

-Shane
thanks.

You can either de-pin that particular wire from the ECU socket or just clip it, do your measurement and then re-solder back together.

Is it possible to use long needle (for the DVOM) adapter to reach in the pin holes with out taking them out?

Yeah, if the pin is thin enough. Most procedures you don't need to disconnect that wire. But when you do you'll have to do it like Chris says.
