ECU solid Cel Light Issues
Okay hey guys, Im from the preluders fourm, and IM having issues with a swap I did. I posted in the Preluders section but wanted to ask in the Tech section, cause mabey you guys know a little more than the others.
I did a h23 swap to h22, in my 4th gen prelude. Ive been having few minor issues after the swap, but have pretty much ironed them all out, escept for one that has left me and others bewildered.
My ECU is throwing a solid cel light when I jump the ECU OBD1 jumper harness. All the wires are in order, and checked and double check.
I have also crack open the ECU to look for any burn marks on the inside of the ECU and everything appears normal.
Now the only issue with it is, that it wont run the Vtec. Everything else is fine about it. It idoles fine, drives fine, revs fine, and throws codes fine. But it wont crack over the Vtec.
Now to see if the ecu is just bad, I put the h23 ecu in there just to see if it would be a solid cel light as well. And yes its the same, solid.
Ive been over the wires pretty much one at a time from the ecu to the engine bay. All the wires match up color wise.
Frankly this sucks, thanks for taking time to read the thread, any ideas are much appreciated

the ecu light will stay lit when the service connector is jumped unless you have a code then it will blink you have nothing to worry about there. as far as the vtec did you wire the vtec when you put in the h22? if so how is your oil level? take the vtec solenoid off and clean it out with brake cleaner. does your oil pan have any dents in it? and finally are you sure you have no vtec or can you just not hear it cuz it would throw a code if you diddnt hit vtec?
