Default ECU Repair?? is it worth it?

Okay,

I've figured out that my ECU is faulty.. It keeps throwing a CEL 4.. i put it in my brother's gsr and still got the CEL 4.. but when i put in the good known ecu from his car, there was no CEL..

If this is a repairable fix.. Please LMK, i dont want to get another ecu and get it chipped for hondata..

thanks..

None of the above.. It was working fine up until I took off my timing belt to retorque my head.. My battery was weak and almost dead and I had to jump it to get the car started.. I think i may have left the ignition on when i jumped the cables , causing a surge in the electrical system and messing up the ECU..

THe soldering and chip is fine...
