I have a 99 Si with a custom turbo kit, im using a 255 pump 450 injectors and a VAFC running 9 lbs of boost, now im getting a map code every once in a while and i have to reset the ECU from under the hood. i wanted to know if i could just put a toggle switch on the ECU fuse under the hood so i could just reset it from inside the car...could this be bad for the ECU??? any info will help....thank you...Chris L.

 

spend the money to keep the code from coming on, cuz no matter how many times you reset the ecu, the problem is still there.

 

what do u mean spend the money? on what?

 

I don't know exactly what you need but the factory honda ecu and map sensor + boost do not go good together, my buddy had an integra that did the same thing, only his was at around 10-11psi, CEL would come on and car would not run right.
