Hey guys, just bought a "hondata" ecu from ebay and there is a wire band sticking out... brown, red, orange, and yellow.... but anyways i put it into my wifes car today to see what it did... and it idled funny and would bog down when i would go to take off.... just wondering what that could be... oh and the check engine light would stay on... havn't had a chance to read it yet but... just wondering what it could be.... also i was wondering if i could just change the chip in it... cause it looks like i could just pull it out w/o desoldering it.... any help would be great... TIA...

You need to program the Hondata, and install the rest of the kit.
Push button, clutch switch (if you have it).
The check engine light is the shift light with Hondata, something is not set right.
Get your program checked, or reburned.
