ok guys heres the deal i recentlly had replaced my computer with a p72, and im running it on an SI, its all obd2 now im getting what i think might be a rev limiter kicking in at or around 6500. i dont have a knock sensor hooked up but i am runing a vafc so i still do have vtec, would this computer not seeing a knock signal set the rev limiter at such a low rpm, and another thing thats really got me stumped about it this only happens in 4th gear. I need someones input on this

 

do you have your vtm wire plugged in meaning the blue wire on the vafc to you vtec pressure signal wire go too the ecu

 

yeah all the wires of the vafc r good soldered connections

 

i meant 2 say that all my stuff is obd1

 

but do you have the vtec pressure switch blue with black stripe wire going too the ecu cut and the blue wire going too the ecu

 

u kno im not sure ill have 2 check that at work 2morrow, would that do what im explaining
