i just got my ls/vtec on the road finally...after a few timing issues the car was running good for about a week, but lately ill be at about 2500 rpms and the car will just want to stall. the tach jumps a little bit and then drives like crap. the light on the ecu comes on and stays on. i have to turn the car off then turn it back on and it drives fine for a little while. but it keeps happening. it only happens at like 2500, if i keep it around 3 grand its fine. my friends supposed to let me use his ecu soon so i can see if its that but i wanted to see if anyone else has had this problem too or knows what it could be. heres everything ive got

b18a block
ctr pistons
shotpeened rods
arp rod bolts
micropolished crankshaft
balanced to 9500
type r oil pump
type r water pump
b16 head
3 angle valve job w/ reverse cut valves
skunk2 intake manifold
skunk2 cam gears
arp head studs
greddy header
no exhaust
pr3 ecu...got it from a friend, not sure if its chipped or not
timings at about 14 degrees
