Help! Just successfully installed an engine for the first time! Starts, runs, but the ECU blinks once on start-up, Check Engine Light Is NOT on for the stated 2 sec, but comes on for about 1. Got a squeal coming from the motor but I think it's oil on a belt.

Can you tell me the normal state of the ECU? On solid? Blink? No Blink? What?
I just wanna get it right before I drive it!

Please! I don't want to drive it til I know for sure. I have an 89 CRX DX, d15b2, 5 Speed Manual & put an 88 d15b2 from an automatic. Does any of this matter to the ECU?

PS: had to swap engines as the timing belt went & fried the valves!
