ECU grounded out...
Hey, I've swapped a H22 into my accord with a chiped P06(supposedly modified for vtec). My ecu is now grounded out somewhere. I'm wondering if I put the positive side of my multimeter into each individual ecu pin, and ground the other side of my multimeter, would this be a good way to check for the grounded out wire or not? Thanks
*edit* by "sides of multimeter", I mean the testing prongs of the multimeter

what do you mean by the ECU is grounded out somewhere?
you have a short to ground in one of the wires or you have a wiring problem with the swap?
Personally I'd disconnect the ECU and trace each wire to the sensor with the ohm setting of the multi-meter. Making sure that only the ground connections are connected to ground on the way.

I keep instantly blowing my underhood ecu fuse. I think a sensor wire somewhere is touching ground. I'll try what you suggested, are you saying test from where the sensor wire meets the sensor to where the harness meets the ecu on the ohm setting?
Ok, I found out it was my o2 sensor blowing my fuse. I couldn't rewire because I didn't have a jack last night, but I'm gonna rewire it tonight and hopefully get it running. Thanks for the help.
