to start let me tell you the history: 99 Honda Civic SI B16A2

About 7 weeks ago i swap the head of my car - while i was pulling the old head out i couldn't get to the manifold bottom bolts so I disconnected everythign attached to the intake manifold including the ICV and i pulled the head with the manifold. After swaping heads, i used my old Intake Manifold and re attached the ICV...

Since then my Check Engine Light comes on and my rpm fluctuates on 1500RPM. Have any clue what's going on?

Make sure that you have the proper 2 wire plug plugged into the idle air control valve

 

i checked the 2 wires in the back and they are good...is there anything else i need to check?

 

try to unplug your iacv while the car is running and your idle should drop if it doesnt that means your iacv.
