Help! my engine is accelerating up and down

Default Help! my engine is accelerating up and down

Well my car was runnin right but today I turned it on and the rpm went up and for just a bit than it stayed at 1500rpm but it wasn't stable. Anyone have any ideas on what could be the problem any ideas would help? THANKS

check for vaccum leaks..throttle sticking?

check your idle valve control it might be clogged id try to clean it first because that part is like 180 bucks

wheres the idle valve control located.

I think it could be my intake manifold gasket, Could it be a reason?

It is located on the back of your intake manifold should be two 12mm bolts and a plug that you have to un clip. Just cleaned mine and got read of the cel code

its behind the intake manifold i mean try cleaning it first but the part is 180 bucks try cleaning it first

it could be the fast idle thermo valve, idle air control valve, you could have a vaccum leak somewhere.

I found the problem it was the intake manifold gasket there was air scaping from there changed it yesturday thanks.


I got one more problem when I accelerate my car makes more noise but doesn't advace any ideas on what could it be?
