Default ECU chips

i bought a skunk 2 ecu chip. How much power will i get? Will it **** anything up?

tested it out and let us know. it might not even work, if it sone of those ebay chips.

Did you know your LS engine doesn't have vtec? The skunk2 chip is for vtec engines. Your engine is also a 1.7 Liter. Let us know how it goes though...

i dunno man... i bought it on ebay for like $20... all it said was 90-93 integras... didnt metion anything about v-tec. Im just scared that when i get it installed it wont work. I dont wanna waste any money. Has anyone, or anyone u know tryed one??

Do you have a link to the selling page?

I really don't think it was meant for an LS integra, he's probably just trying to sell it. I dunno..

i was just looking for it. I guess they stopped selling it. but anyways, i know for sure its not a real SKUNK2 chip, its a fake one. do you still think it would help in anyway??

hey but getting a authentic chip , how differant is it from gettting a programmed chip? im thinking of swapping my p72 for a p28 and either geting the skunk2 or mugen spec chip. What are your suggestions for chip specs? im going all motor, just want reliability.What are some things to look for in a crappy chip install or crappy chip? what are some things i should ask to tell the quality of these programmed chips? any help will do thanx guys.

i think your best bet would be to get a p28 and get it chipped by kenji, eg6ajk, or someone else that does it on this site.

yea it is a 1.8 vtec motor ...its a 97' GSR ...p72 but i can get the conversion harness and use the p28 right? well thats the impression i was getting! .........Still need those things to look for in a quality "no name " chip and what to look for in a ECU! thanx guys for the help!
