I have a d16y7 ecu still and saw some power chips on ebay for like 30.00 shipped. Has anyone used them any gains, what do you think?

I have some friends that bought ebay chips. Some of them worked out alright.. some of them were blank chips.. What kind of program do you want. I have an EPROM writer and a lot of programs. PM me if you want one. ($40 for my chips)

Ebay chips are junk. If you want a second opinion, I still think that they are junk

Go with a reputable seller that will custom programa chip for your application.

i have a p38 ecu i have purchased off of ebay for a 2000 si with the v-tec bumped to 6000 and the rev limit to 9100, the fuel maps have been changed as well. it works great with my combo, and the obd 1 conversion was a big plus too..

why did you change vtec to 6000?
and do you have a valvetrain for 9100rpm's?

check my site .. $35US gets you 2 chips and install kit. every chip is tested and you get quality and warranty. I also do, custom vtec/rev limits @ no cost.

I have dynoed every chip I sell, and have been doing this for past few years, so a know a thing or two about ECUs and chipping. Not another kid with a EPROM programmer and chips.

Win some you loose some with the ebay chips, but for 35$ get the
gaurante from eg6ajk.

And who cares if his valvetrain can handle 9000rpms? He just said
thats the specs on his chip. (shakes head)

thats why im asking

trying to prove that just because it can rev that high dosent mean it can make power there. or that its safe for the valvetrain.
