if i WAnted my ecu looked at by a shop to make sure its tuned right for my motor setupr do they need the car or just the ecu? i think my p28 is f -ing up my motor lol i wanna make sure its setup right. thanks for your help

Unless the tune is just complete garbage they'll probably want to see the car as well to see how it runs with it.

to make sure it's tuned right they will need the car. As well as dropping in a wideband and doing a little datalogging to verify everything.

anything less is just a guess.
