Default Re: ECU? (Accord15)

ECU codes help diagnose ur car through the engine check light, either on ur ECU for OBD1 cars and in the gauge cluster for OBD1 and 2 cars. To view codes stored in the PCM on an OBD1 or 2 car install a jumper wire into the service connector located under the dash, kinda above the ecu. The check engine light will blink; a long blink representing the first digit and short blinks representing the second digit. (say, 2 long blinks then one short for the code 21 which is a vtec solenoid problem). I find all my codes from http://www.hybrid.honda-perf.org The P28, PR3, P30, P72, etc. those are just what kind of ECU you are talking about. (the P28 is an 92-95 SOHC VTEC computer, the PR3 is an OBD0 comp either from a JDM civic or integra, P30 del sol, P72 is an OBD1/2 GSR, and so on. Hope this helps!
