Default ECL #9 OBD 1

i looked it up and it says that it's a cylinder sensor. how do i get this problem fixed? ECL came on about a week ago. stopped driving the car since. it's a 2000 civic hatch with gsr swap and converted to obd1 running hondata s300 on p28. any info would greatly be appreciated.

If the ECU is fine and the wiring is ok then you need a new distributor. The CYP sensor is part of the distributor and isn't usually available by itself. You can test the sensor by disconnecting its connector at the distributor and checking the resistance across the two CYP wires. It should be between 350 and 700 ohms. Just because it tests ok doesn't necessarily mean it isn't malfunctioning.
