Default ebrake still engaged....

hey, i was wondering if this has happened to anyone else, and what might be the fix for this? well when i disengage the ebrake, it is still applied. what could this possibly be? basically i have to keep pulling the brake and realeaseing about 5-6 times before it will disengage, any help would be appreciated! thanks a lot

Maybe the cable is rusted & sticking?
Maybe the lever back on the caliper is rusted & sticking?
If the brakes drag with normal use, then look at caliper slide pins or maybe the pads are wedged tight in the caliper bracket?
You gotta look at some of that stuff for yourself; we can't see it from here.
