Ebay's timing belt kits
The previous owner never bother changing my car's timing belt because he was sort of clueless about needing to do that. My car is a 96 GSR at 136k miles so this should be about its third time I think. I know that ebay is ebay, but what about these kits:

Are the aftermarket timing belts even worth it? They're on the expensive side, but how much better than OEM are those, and should it be done for spirited daily driving or some autocross?

Honestly a new belt is BETTER than an old one. A new timing belt and water pump will be better for spirited driving..(think of what will happen at 8000 rpm when the belt breaks). As far as brands go the ebay kit will work. You are getting a lot of parts for a decent price. Honda OE belts run about $60 and a water pump about $70. For a little more you are getting seals and a V/C (valve cover)gasket, and brive belts. YES..if you fell you need to, replace the belt.
