The cat on my 98 ek is clogged up and getting very bad gas mileage, I found this ebay setup and it looks like a good deal:

What you guys think? Would the cat that comes with this kit pass emissions or its one of those crappy test pipes?

Looks like the standard crappy ebay test pipe. It won't pass inspection and will definitely sound like butt. I had the same 'replacement convertor' and i took it off 30 seconds after starting the car back up. Can't comment on the header.

 

I have a 2.5 inch test pipe like the one in the pic. Got it off ebay. It works fine for me, but Im switching to High Flow cat this year, due to emmissions.

 

stay away from that it will not pass emmissions header maybe ok but may rust uo in a few months
