Ebay cat? As in test pipe? Probably an instant fail.

Awww, its a test pipe? Damn... Yeah, that is an instant fail.

EDIT: Actually, take a look at the pics in the link. That doesn't look like a test pipe to me.

Hmm, my test pipe on my last car was just a straight pipe with flanges, so i thought they were all like that. Oh well.

Nope. You won't pass. Your cat has to have special CARB EO numbers stamped on the bottom of the cat. Check out the link. Sucks to be in California.

It also says it's a "High flow Catalytic Converter" which it isn't.

Make sure any aftermarket cat you get is a 3 way cat. I bought one of those carsound high flow cats off ebay and it was a 2 way. Car was constantly throwing the cat CEL. Got an OEM type replacement put in at a muffler shop and haven't had any problems since.

Yeah but who actually listens to that stuff. Like factory warning stickers that read things like, "Always wear safety goggles" for things like leaf blowers or... coffee makers.

Yeah, I've determined that it's basically a hollowed out cat.

haha seriously, im surprised that shampoo bottles dont have that. "the use of safety goggles is highly recommended. showering suds may enter the eyes and cause extreme irritation."
