I used eagle rods on my Sohc civic motor last year, and they worked great. I reved to 8500, and boosted 18lbs and I had no trouble. The head gasket is another thing. I dynoed at 290 wheel horses. YOur b18 should be fine too. Only thing, I needed to massage the block a little for clearence with the rods. Spin the crank and you'll see. at least I did with my d16

IMHO you get what you pay for. if im spending the time and money to build up my bottom end im gonna get the best parts. i would go with crower or pauter rods. just hold an eagle and a crower rod side by side and you can see the huge difference in strength

i agree. When you build a bottom end that is the one area that you dont want to "slack" with parts. Build it with some manley, pauter, crower, or even full-race rods. IMO
