E85 honda on 91 pump gas
Hi everyone
I just bought a civic turbo on E85 with Hondata S300, but i donīt have acces to E85 here. I can retune the car afr and timming for 91 gas but my biggest concern is if gasoline does not hurt the inyectors or fuel pump.
Thanks

Ethanol is essentially alcohol... which attracts moisture and is corrosive to aluminum. E85 is essentially 85% (typically between 65 and 85%)alcohol whereas 91 octane pump gas is a maximum of 10% (more commonly 6-8%). So, pump gas is at least eight times LESS likely to damage your fuel system and engine components. You will need to re-tune, but you won't have to worry about damage to your fuel system.
