My dash light for the e-brake comes on for no apparent reason. It comes on and goes off when I take turn, hit a speed bump, or brake hard. It's freaking annoying!!! I haven't noticed any problems with my brakes, so I think it's pretty much electrical. Anyone else had this happen?

 

check your brake fluid level. I don't know about your car, but in my RX-7, it's also an indicator light for low brake fluid level.

 

check the brake fluid level. There is a sensor that tells you when it is low via the brake light. if the fluid is that low it's also probably time for some new pads.

 

Thanks guys, the fluid was low. I just replaced all rotors and pads a few months ago.
