Dummy Light question?
I have a 4th gen prelude and I am wondering how you can check what cel your throwing? I can't find the blue/green connector to check what cel i have. Any help will do. thanks
That connector is usually located in the passenger side of the center console around where the carpet meets the console and where the console meets the dash.
And correct about Auto Zone. They won't check codes on non-OBD2 systems. Besides that, the code reader they use is very generic and only gives you a base code. Will not give manufacturer specific codes. This has led to a lot of misdiagnosed problems.. Besides that, they are parts counter people, not technicians.
Hope this helps

I've had them read a mfg-specific code (P1457) on our '98 Accord. They didn't really know what it meant, but their reader displayed the correct code. I got the correct meaning for that code from my Helm book.
Edit for Kamin
Oops... Yeah, I thought we were talking about OBD-2.
