Dumb Question FPR related
Ok I have a inline FPR and a straight thru fuel rail. I have the FPR prior to the fuel rail, it builds pressure until the fuel pump quits then all pressure is gone. Does the FPR need to go after the fuel rail or did I install it backwards like an idiot?
This is the type I got. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...QrdZ1
The FPR works, I used it with the OEM fuel rail and the adaptors in the stock location, but my new fuel rail is straight thru using 3/8 NPT Barb fittings. So not sure if being placed prior to the fuel rail its losing all pressure with the fuel return which includes the fuel in the rail.

fuel pump - filter - rail - regulator - return line.
the regulator restricts flow to increase pressure, after the regulator there is little to zero pressure. You want the rail in the pressurized area.
at least that's always been my understanding of it. I could be wrong, I've never really dug into it to figure things out.

I'm an idiot it does go after the rail prior to the fuel return. Aeromotive and TWM both show install that way. Oh well its only rubber hose and is cheap to fix.
