Well I am getting my entire exhaust replaced with 2.5" piping. The catch is they wanted to charge me 100$+ to put the new header on. I said screw it, so I put it on myself. the rest of the piping is going to be welded at the shop.

I just turned the engine on and it is unbelievably loud. My question is, for those of you that have driven to the muffler shop open header... did you just drive normally? put on the flashers and drive at a crawl? how was it on the freeway? id like to know the best way to get there w/o cops pulling me over. tia

 

WTF, i run open header all the time.........yeah it's loud as ****...the best part is that i live in the hampton roads area of VA and we have a bunch of tunnels around here . it's nice every once and awhile to acoustically bitch smack someone in there just let it scream and if you see a cop put it in stealth mode(push in the clutch and coast by)
