I just ordered a used header (stupid me) and its dented pretty bad. do muffler shops undent them. also would there be a noticable performance issue i may be running into?

 

there might be performance issue due to it restricking the flow. i dont think they will undent it for you. only cut that park out and reweld another piece there.

 

yea, i think it restricts a little. i have a small dent but i dont feel a decrease in power though

 

it will definately affect performance if its "pretty dented," so just take it to a muffler shop and like tngay said, they'll cut that section off and weld in a new piece then, its a new header so ur not stupid for buying used stuff
