hello everyone, im posting to see if someone can help me out with my window.
so, everyone of my windows but the driver side works. i checked the fuses, the power window relay and nothing, i checked all the wires going to the window motor and there is no electricity going through them, any suggestions???
i feel like its the motor but theres no electricity going through it and the relays and fuses are fine and at the right amperage

car is a swapped 1992 civic 4 door

 

check the switch at the door panel, occasionally crud and stuff get in and the switch doesn't engage properly.

motor, you can clip on a 12v battery on the motor terminals and see if it works.

 

I have the same issue with a 93 integra but my motor allows the window to go down but wont let it go up... im looking to replace the motor but not sure where to start looking. I tried AutoZone, And Oreillys they want $100+. Any one with a used motor or ideas??

 

If your motor goes up and not down then the motor is fine.
Its most likely the window switch. Start there.
You'll need a multi meter.

 

The switch has been replaced. it still does the same thing.

 

Is there a way to test the wires for power going to the motor in both directions?
