Default dpfi to mpfi

seems like my only option is to wire my car from dpfi to mpfi. i was tryin to get around it by getting a different engine harness but every one says this wont work i have to do the conversion. my question is do i need to put the risitor box in or is there a way around that. if i use different injectors or somethin? im gonna be putting a obd1 swap in the car so im not sure if im going to need it. thanks in advance for the help.

If you run OBD1/2 injectors, you will not need the resistor box and can just wire the five wires that were originally going to the resistor box together.

Yeah, don't tape. Crimp them together and then shrink it. Or at least solder them together and heat shrink them.
