a torque wrench...

i know how to read it and set it to the correct torque.. but i don't know how to apply the torque... do i have to turn it like a ratchet, or pull the handle logitudinally??? sorry for asking such a noob question...

btw is a micrometre type... the one you set the torque by pulling down the silver tab and twisting the handle...

Turn it like a ratchet until you hear a click or until it's to the amount you want, depends on which style wrench you got.

turn it slowley with even pressure. Dont turn it fast.
