well i recently snapped my timing belt.. pulled the cover off doesnt appear to have any bent valves, everything seems to be intact. im worried that my cams might be out of wack as my cam sprockets hamve the [UP] marking on them, and if i remember correctly they were always the same as one another..... well now my exhaust cam is slightly off few notches advance i guess

so im looking for anyones input.. what i should do, what i shouldnt do, or things to be worried about... iv never snapped a timing belt but iv heard not soo god stories about bent valves and such... it was my own damn fault for neglecting to do the belt i was waiting till next friday for my paycheck to do it, and it went on me last night.

so does anyone have any suggestions, guidelines, or links to threads on honda-tech that could help me out??

also wondering what is involved in doing my timing.... slap on a belt grab up a timingt belt (i have a buddy whos gonna do this to me, but has never worked on dohc 4cyl's and wants me to do some research on this motor particularly) and adjust at the distributor?? or is my timing adjusted by my sprockets?? and if so what can happen if its too far out of timing?? it just wont run? or do i risk breaking top end components??
